Lower level have two Barbeques with lots of tables and chairs for entertaining. Upper level is a quiet meditation space. There is gym, laundry room, bike storage, restroom and additional storage (for a fee if needed) in the basement. Gym is included as part of maintenance and is open 24/7. Laundry room has recently been upgraded with high quality washers and dryers. There are lot of machines and never a wait. Doorman collects packages and sends email notification when there is a package. There is digital intercom in the lobby that guests can use to have the front door opened. The system will notify the resident on phone for such requests.
Building: The building went through a full renovation of hallways and stair areas past year. Subletting the apartment is allowed after 2 years of residency. Overall this is a great secure building with excellent financials and reserves. There are no assessments currently or planned for near future.
Neighborhood: One of the best locations to live in West Village. The 1 train is just 2mins walk and A,B,C,D,E, F and M trains on W4 are 5mins walk. There are three Citibike stations around. There are plenty of cute restaurants and coffee shops around. Also 24/7 Delis, Pharmacies, Post Office, Banks (BOA, Chase) are few steps away from the building. Hudson River side and Pier 46 is a 6 min walk. NYU and Washington Square Park is also a 6 min walk.
